The course presents a broad introduction to the exciting field of operations management and shows that operations management has a profound

effect on productivity. This course proves to be of substantial benefit to the students as it helps them understand how operations management

affects society and their lives. More so, the course exposes the students to the fundamentals of Total Quality Management and some activities

which have an influence on TQM. It likewise introduces the different tools and techniques used in TQM together with an indication of its range of application.
