CMPE 105 Computer Hardware Fundamentals

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the essential components and principles of computer hardware. Students will gain hands-on experience in identifying, assembling, and troubleshooting hardware components such as motherboards, processors, memory, storage devices, power supplies, and peripherals. The course also covers the basics of hardware-software interaction, system configuration, and preventive maintenance. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of how computer systems are built and how to diagnose and resolve common hardware issues.
