Emphasis is placed on understanding the mandates, powers, responsibilities, policy processes, regulatory mechanisms, and interrelationships of DepEd, CHED, and TESDA. Students critically investigate how educational legislation and policies are formulated, interpreted, implemented, monitored, and evaluated, including issues of institutional autonomy, quality assurance, access and equity, curriculum, faculty and personnel, accreditation, financing, governance, digital and open education, and accountability.
