Advanced Organization Development and Change Management

[Focus]  DBA 708 – Advanced Organization Development and Change Management explores advanced theories, models, and strategies for leading organizational change and development in educational and organizational settings. The course emphasizes systems thinking, organizational diagnosis, transformational leadership, innovation, and sustainable organizational effectiveness. 

[Output] Students will develop an Organization Development and Change Management Project that applies relevant theories and evidence-based strategies to address a real organizational or educational issue through a comprehensive change intervention plan.  

[Modality] The course is delivered through the Open Distance and eLearning (ODeL) modality, combining synchronous online sessions for discussions and consultations with asynchronous learning activities, allowing students to access course materials, complete learning tasks, and develop their project at their own pace through the learning management system.

Seminar in Contemporary Issues and Trends in Education
Summer Semester 2026

[Focus]  This course provides an in-depth examination of contemporary issues and emerging trends in educational management that influence the effective and efficient operation of school systems. It emphasizes critical analysis and evaluation of these trends and issues, focusing on their implications for educational leadership, governance, and policy development. Through scholarly inquiry and reflective discussion, students are guided to understand how internal and external forces shape decision-making and management practices in education.. 

[Output] Students will critically analyze current trends and issues and propose economical, efficient, and effective management solutions and policy interventions appropriate for educational leaders.  

[Modality] The course is delivered through open distance and e-learning, combining synchronous online sessions with asynchronous learning activities to provide flexible and interactive doctoral-level instruction.

Executive Training and Development for Educational Managers
Summer Semester 2026

[Focus]  This course focuses on theories, principles, and practices in curriculum and instruction management. It examines the factors that influence curriculum development, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The course also emphasizes leadership and administrative strategies that support effective curriculum decision-making and continuous improvement in educational institutions.

[Output] At the end of the course, students are expected to analyze curriculum management issues and practices, develop curriculum plans and strategies, and propose recommendations for curriculum improvement, implementation, and evaluation. They will demonstrate advanced competencies in curriculum leadership, decision-making, and educational management.  

[Modality] The course is delivered through the Open University System using a flexible Open, Distance, and e-Learning (ODeL) approach. Learning activities combine synchronous sessions for discussions and consultations with asynchronous activities such as online modules, readings, forums, and independent learning tasks, allowing students to engage in the course anytime and anywhere.

System Analysis in Education
Summer Semester 2026

[Focus]  This course focuses on the application of systems thinking and systems analysis in educational management and leadership. It provides graduate students with a foundational understanding of systems concepts, the systems approach, and the analytical tools used to examine, design, and improve educational organizations as interconnected and dynamic systems. 

[Output] At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to critically analyze educational systems and subsystems, apply systems analysis tools to real-world educational management issues, and develop evidence-based recommendations or models for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and decision-making in educational institutions.  

[Modality] The course is delivered through an open and distance e-learning modality, combining synchronous and asynchronous learning activities. Students engage in online lectures, virtual discussions, collaborative tasks, and independent study using the institution’s learning management system, supported by scheduled real-time sessions and guided self-paced learning activities.
