This course provides an overview of data science in which one of the most in-demand field in today’s world. The course explores the interaction among society and innovation by measurably analyzing small and big data to make forecasts, inferences, and predictions. It covers detailed discussion on logical strategies in processing, data analytics, project life cycle, data acquisition, statistical methods, data visualization, analysis, and machine learning. Students will acquire a working knowledge of data science through the use of R software for data analysis, data transformation and evaluation.
